Masters Skill Drills
In this workshop, we will work through 12 to 14 obstacle sequences focusing on quick, rapid handling. We will maximize the handler’s steps while focusing on setting clear lines for the dogs. Jumps, tunnels, and weaves.
In this workshop, Tammy will help you and your dog find a path to an independent stopped end-behavior. We will discuss forward drive over the obstacle, lateral distance handling, side changes, send-aways, and strong verbal release cues.
If you have to manage your dog’s performance on the contact, you are not free to handle the course in the manner you wish. An independent dogwalk behavior gives you control of your movements on course and allows the dog to feel confident and in control of his choices, which in turn creates faster, more fluid performances.
Saturday April 4 9:00 am to 12:30 pm $165

Are you looking to get ahead on course? Having strong obstacle commitment will allow you to get in those blinds and front crosses that allow for better communication on course. In this workshop, we focus on small exercises to teach the dog an understanding of true commitment. We will help the dog understand that the handler’s motion is not always indicative of what is actually being cued. Jumps and tunnels only.

No obstacles will be used. this class is also great for puppies and foundation students of all ages.
